The Glorified

This was more of a personal project but represents a couple of my passions – sneakers, and the people behind a product/craft. In sneaker culture, Nike and Jordan sneakers are revered and collected. We open the shoe box and often don't know who has touched the shoes before us. This project takes 3 pairs of highly sought after kicks, and transforms them into a representation of a revered headdress in the country where they were manufactured – China, Vietnam, Indonesia.
